One of the responsibilities of your Board of Directors is to ensure the business of running the chapter matches our bylaws. We've updated the bylaw and we need your approval vote to put them into action. The full text of the bylaws with the changes highlighted is available online. Highlights include:
- Changed all references of “workforce learning and performance” to “talent development” as recommended by the Association for Talent Development, our national organization.
- Changed the responsibilities of succession planning and leading the nominating committee’s activities to “President-Elect” rather than the “Past President” to match what is currently happening today.
- Changed the number of years from “two years” to “three years” regarding how often an external review of the chapter’s financial records is mandated. (Please note that an internal financial review committee is required to review the financials annually.)
