This is an immersive and collaborative study series that supports ATD certification (CPTD & APTD) candidates and those who are looking to assess their gaps and begin preparation for future consideration. Please note that the series will follow the CPTD study group guidelines and prep guide. Making the commitment to test is not a requirement to join this series.

Study Prep Series - What’s in It for You?
Program Description
First time managers often promote into a leadership without capabilities to be effective. In this interactive session, we will explore common gaps, the impact on your company’s future readiness, and share development strategies you are exploring or implementing.
There is no speaker or panel. All participants will be a part of a guided discussion that is moderated and timed to ensure lots of time to share with each other. There will be small group breakout sessions.

Facilitator Bio
Amy Swaminathan, CPTD® loves helping others reach their full potential. She’s a champion for driving your own career through ongoing development, learning from others, and using the benefits an ATD membership provides.
Amy has over two decades of learning and organizational development experience that includes leadership and employee experience design, facilitation, coaching, instructional design, and organizational effectiveness consulting. She earned the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) credential in 2018 and continues to learn to earn recertification requirements to impact personal, team, and organization strategies.
She finds great joy in traveling with her husband and son, watching KC Chiefs football, and helping others advocate for their aging parents.
Program Description:
Support ATD certification candidates with test study preparation and practitioners who are interested in developing their talent development capabilities, knowledge and skills through facilitated classes, coaching, peer support and ATD resources. Testing for ATD certification is not a requirement.

Each session is led by an ATDKC Member that has already achieved CPLP status. Then, we have time for a study group discussion.
