From Learning to Changes in Behavior that Stick

We’ve all been to a conference or workshop where we ooh and ahh over the learning content and promise of application. Then we go back to our desk we move forward without the promised changes. Kristen O’Shea has been training around Gallup’s CliftonStrengths for 8 years and has witnessed individuals and teams experience the excitement of learning about their strengths and the failure of applying actual behavior change. In this webinar we will dive into some tools that help to integrate learning into what is already taking place in the flow of the workday and help to actually change behavior through neuroscience and positive psychology.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand how habits are formed and when learning translates to changes in behavior
  • Experience different integration platforms that enhance learning throughout the workday
  • Create your own habit exercise to apply to your own behavior and talents

Speaker: Kristen Brunkow O'Shea

She has moved the needle on development of strengths for corporate, nonprofit, government, and faith organizations. The journey of how she increased engagement, well-being and retention, and impacted a campus of more than 28,000 students is featured in the introduction of Gallup’s Clifton Strengths for Students book. Kristen was recently invited to share her inspirational story with an audience of 1,500 as the Keynote at the Gallup CliftonStrengths Summit 2018.

Kristen previously served as Executive Director of the quality of life division for the Greater Topeka Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Greater Topeka, and coordinated membership for LeadingAge Kansas an association for non-profit aging services.
