Recording Better Voiceovers
If you’ve ever wanted to add a voiceover to your eLearning modules but didn’t know where to start, join us for a presentation focused on getting started with audio recording. We’ll talk about the different types of microphones to help you determine which type will work best for you and decipher the difference between XLR, USB, condenser and dynamic microphones. We’ll also show you some of the accessories that can make your recordings clearer like pop filters, shock mounts and isolation shields. When we’re done with the hardware, we’ll share some tips for microphones settings and placement options that will help cut down on your editing time and show you some basic editing techniques in Adobe Audition to help you splice things together and clean up some background noise.
