The Future of Leadership

Session Description:

For many years command and control leadership stood at the top of the mountain. In many organizations it still reigns supreme, but the grip is loosening. The expectation for leaders has been shifting for quite some time but the pandemic changed the way we work and, in many ways, how we lead. Pandora’s box has been opened and I don’t think we can close it. People expect and want a different type of leader. What does this mean for the future of leadership? In this session we’ll discuss how leadership is shifting and how we can prepare our leaders for this inevitable evolution.

Learning Objectives for this program:

  • Discuss how the pandemic and subsequent “Great Resignation” impacted work and leadership.
  • Highlight what research is telling us people want from their organizations and leaders.
  • Explore areas where leaders might need to focus and what skills might they need to build.
  • Peer discussions with gap identification and a focus on potential action items for your organizations.
