June Chapter Meeting

As trainers and facilitators your goal is to take command of the room, show enthusiasm for your content and keep learners captivated. To accomplish this, you need to incorporate dynamic facilitation skills, strong body language and keep your attendees on track, on topic and on time.

During this session, volunteers will receive personalized coaching to transform their facilitation skills.

You will learn:

  • Five qualities of a dynamic facilitator
  • Three factors that influence an audience
  • Tips to become a confident trainer, regardless of the topic or audience
  • How to present your information in a relaxed and natural style
  • A process to handle challenging questions with ease

This interactive, hands-on session will empower you to project confidence and conviction for your curriculum while motivating and engaging learners.

Speaker Bio

Sheri Jeavons is a highly regarded communications consultant, dynamic speaker and entrepreneur. Since founding Power Presentations, Inc. in 1993, she has developed communication skills training programs and products for high-profile standing, seated and virtual communications for all levels of expertise.

Her company has successfully trained more than 20,000 professionals from a variety of Fortune 500 Companies and industry leaders such as: Cisco WebEx, FedEx, McDonald’s, Marathon Petroleum, Ernst & Young, Federal Reserve Bank,

GE Energy, NASA, Medtronic and Boehringer Ingelheim.

Sheri has developed the Webinars that Wow® and Web Meetings that Wow® online training curriculum to help professionals become more dynamic online communicators. She has since become a leader on the topic of virtual communications and is known as the Virtual Communications CoachSM, speaking at many industry-leading training conferences.
