Trainers as Coaches - Dan Schwartz
In the ever-changing world of Talent Development, there are no cookie-cutter jobs. Even in a traditional training role, you may find yourself in a variety of situations that require more than some basic instructional design skills. In this session, you will learn how to expand your capabilities as a Talent Development Professional and become a dynamic trainer, coach, and developer of people. In this session: you’ll learn three simple strategies for connecting with your learners and keeping them engaged. Whether you are a manager, career coach, trainer, mentor, executive coach, or other type of talent development professional, you will walk away with the tools you need to transfer knowledge anytime, anywhere, to anyone.

Dan Schwartz is the founder and chief education officer of the Ground Floor Leadership Institute (formerly College Coach Dan). He also is the author of Winning Strategies: Achieving Success in the Classroom, Career and Life, a contributor to Find Your Fit: A Practical Guide to Landing a Job You'll Love, and the author of a recent TD at Work Managing as a Ground Floor Leader.
Dan has published several articles on leadership development, employee development, learning, and employee engagement. Dan is also a member of the coaching staff at Campus Career Coach and has also spoken to thousands of college students on career and college success.
