About the Speakers:
Through years of assorted education and career paths, Molly Odorisio found a deep connection with learning and supporting other's growth. Molly's early work in healthcare and video production gave her great insight into both fields, paving the way for future career growth. Today, she serves as Learning and Development Manager for Saving Sight, a non-profit that works to change lives by saving sight. In this role, she has had the great privilege to collaborate with leaders to build training and development programs from the ground up, including an Onboarding Program that emphasizes the employee experience in both technical and cultural development. Molly holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Nebraska Omaha in Psychology, focusing in I.O. Psychology and Cognitive Psychology.
Jenny Carroll has spent nearly the last 20 years building her career in HR where she has developed a diverse background in the complete lifecycle of the employee experience. In Jenny’s current role at Kansas City University (KCU), a private osteopathic medicine university founded in 1916, she serves as a Human Resources Specialist II where she has a passion for connecting with new hires on their first day to ensure they have the best onboarding experience possible. To meet this challenge, Jenny developed a New Hire Journey program that provides new hires with the valuable resources they need to get acclimated to KCU’s, Mission, Vision and Core Values.
Jenny was awarded the Employee of the Year in 2019 for living by KCU's Mission- Improving the Well-being of the communities we serve, and goes above and beyond in her volunteerism and community service efforts.
