July Chapter Meeting:

Exploring the Daily Struggles of the Modern Workplace

Program Description:

The modern workplace is full of exciting opportunities and nerve-wracking challenges. As we steer our way through meetings, deadlines, targets, and expectations (many of them, implicit), it is easy to lose cadence and clarity around what matters to you, what makes you successful and where you add most value to your company’s mission.

This session is a short exercise (in group setting) to reflect on your recent work life (past few months) and find the areas that are bothering you the most, your top daily struggles that are hurdles/hold-backs to your professional growth.

Learning Objectives for this program:

  • Operational Excellence has the idiom, “What we can measure, we can improve”, and the objective of this session is to identify what to measure so you can keep engaging, growing and thriving at work.

Speaker Bio:

Prasad Saraph is a veteran people leader from the Pharma industry with over 20 years of experience in building and nurturing high performance teams across functions, countries and cultures. Since 2021, Prasad is following his passion for people via his tech start-up, PB JAM which aims to empower professionals to take charge of their own development via novel, simple, effective, and science-based approaches backed by capable online technologies.

Prasad and his wife Seemantini (a business school professor) fell in love with the Kansas City area in 2014. They have two sons (a freshman at UC-Irvine and a fourth-grader). When not working, you can find Prasad and Seemantini racing around to keep their house marginally clean against the onslaught of the fourth grader and a very active yellow lab named Lucy!. Prasad enjoys local breweries, cafes, barbecue joints (burnt ends!!), jogging and capoeira.
