The Science, Significance and Analytics around building a Legacy Culture

Program Description:

Having a strong organizational culture has always been important, and the COVID-19 pandemic has only magnified the importance of culture in a successful work environment. 

In this session, you will learn more about the science and data that show the importance and impact of having a strong organizational culture - a Legacy Culture.

Speaker Bio:

Delise Simmons helps organizations improve their cultures. She started her work in organizational culture when she helped found the Southwest Airlines’ Leadership University, where she developed and delivered leadership training to more than 1,000 leaders every year, during the time when Southwest Airlines was rated as one of the Top Ten Companies to work for in America. She left Southwest Airlines to help create JetBlue Airways, the world’s largest mega start-up carrier in US history. She helped hire their first employees, create their organizational values and assist in creating a world-class culture from the inside out.

Delise has helped organizations use their recruiting, hiring, development, compensation and rewards strategies to create remarkable cultures. Delise has proven that her attention to organizational structure, understanding of human behavior, and leadership experience help create dynamic leaders and successful organizational cultures. Her work with leaders across the country have helped produce legacy cultures and remarkable leadership.


Will Gladhart learned about business and hard work growing up on a farm in Kansas. He began his career in the Agriculture, Food and Pharmaceutical industries, working at Nabisco, Cargill and several natural products/ pharma companies. While at these entities, he utilized his degree in milling science management and particle manipulation to creatively engineer solutions in R&D divisions, streamline manufacturing Operations and implement OSHA safety measures. While at Cargill, he was responsible for a $23MM, 18 state territory in the Acidulants Division, negotiating contracts & selling corn-based products to Fortune 100 customers in the food, beverage, industrial, mining, plastics refining, defense, pharmaceutical and veterinary industries.

Will’s past experience in strategic marketing & business development, entrepreneurial ventures and product-to-market sales, coupled with a strong background in Sales, Marketing, Training and Technology/ Analytics allows him to effectively steer the Connect2Metrics business and support an extensive client network of Coaches/ Consultants we serve.
