Program Description:

Effective leaders take responsibility for their career experience, including their performance, growth and engagement. In this program, talent leaders will learn to empower their colleagues to manage their aspirations, expectations and performance in a way that facilitates career growth. They will also create a plan to facilitate productive career conversations to gain the support of their supervisor in the process.

Speaker Bio:

Nathan Magnuson is the founder of Leadership-in-a-Box®, a "ridiculously practical" performance system for organizations who need to scale their leadership development. Prior to Leadership-in-a-Box®, Nathan spent over a decade working in leadership and organizational development, both in corporate roles at Fortune 500 companies and consulting, supporting organizations such as Accenture, HCA Healthcare, Tenet Healthcare, MASCO and others. Nathan’s projects have ranged from leading enterprise deployments to 10,000+ leaders to facilitating strategy and development sessions with small executive teams.

In addition to consulting, facilitating, and coaching, Nathan is the author of two leadership books, Stand Out! and Ignite Your Leadership Expertise, and over 300 leadership articles. His thought leadership has been featured in Forbes, Lead Change, Toastmaster, Ziglar and other publications.

Nathan’s leadership experiences have also been shaped by military service as a member of the U.S. Army Special Operations, which included a 12-month deployment to Iraq in 2008. Nathan is from Kansas City, MO and resides in Dallas, TX.
