Trust in the Workplace: What Builds it & What Destroys it
Program Description
Trust has been defined as having mutual confidence that neither party in a relationship will intentionally exploit the others’ vulnerabilities. This session will focus on the Team Trust Index™, a tool that measures workplace trust on four dimensions:
Workshop participants will analyze a brief case study based on the four dimensions of trust. Then their findings will be shared and discussed in the large group.

As founder and CEO of TerconPartners, Jeannette Terry is an organization development consultant who has advised companies and capital projects across five continents. Some of her clients have included Chevron Corporation, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the U.S. Treasury Department, Bechtel, and Hilton World-Wide. Her expertise includes building high trust work cultures and facilitating complex conflict resolution. Jeannette earned her M.A in Organizational Communication at K.U. and has taught communication at JCCC and in K.U.’s Master’s program at the Edwards Center.
