MEET THE TEAM

Jana Meyers is the Director of Talent Management and Organizational Effectiveness at H&R Block. Her passion is to find ways to maximize the value and engagement of talent and create strong, creative, effective teams, leaders, and support organizations. She has over 15 years’ experience in designing, supporting, facilitating, and leading talent programs and functions.

In her role as VP of Membership, Jana is focused on creating the conditions for talent professionals to find connection, resources, and growth as a result of their experience being a part of the ATDKC family.

Hannah Baker is a people and organizational development professional with more than five years of experience in training design and facilitation, onboarding, coaching, and culture development. Hannah currently serves as an Organizational Development Practitioner at Children’s Mercy Kansas City, working within the HR group to support leaders through succession planning and performance management as well as through team and individual engagement.

Hannah has a BS in Business Administration from the University of Kansas (ROCK CHALK!) and an MBA from UMKC. Hannah is a certified Clifton Strengths coach and she’s working toward earning her certification in executive coaching. As Director of Membership Outreach, Hannah supports current and potential ATDKC members.

Cindy Pollock has been in the talent development and instructional design game for over 23 years. She does it because she loves seeing people learn. When they have an “a-ha” because of something she wrote, she knows why she does what she does.

Cindy earned her B.S. in Journalism from Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes). Her career in instructional design started when her first boss said, “Hey, someone should write this down.” Her experience includes facilitation, talent development, curriculum design, knowledge management design, and trying to get people to make podcasts a true learning vehicle. As Director of Membership Insight, Cindy uncovers new and interesting ways to provide support and value to our members.

Shelley Etzenhouser, CPTD, is dedicated to designing and implementing innovative employee development journeys that empower individuals and teams to reach their full potential. Time is a commodity. Once taken, it cannot be given back. Every moment matters, and time for professional development is no different. She currently leads the Kansas City Chapter of ATD as President.

Certified as a CPTD (Certified Professional in Talent Development), Shelley brings a commitment to staying at the forefront of industry best practices. She is not just about training, but about making a positive difference in the development of team members and the organization's key metrics to success.
