If you have spent any time in the training industry, you know that visuals are a serious asset. Visuals have the power to help our learners absorb information more efficiently, effectively, and for longer periods of time (Gutierrez, K., 2014). So, whether you are working with a graphical designer or alone, it is a good idea to strengthen your understanding of how these assets work!

Members Only Event Resources

In this session, we will explore readability, expectations, aesthetics, and how to communicate graphical design concepts to each other. In addition, you will receive a shareable job aide to for conducting constructive criticism on your own work in these three areas. By the end of this session, you should have a firmer grasp on how to make effective graphical design choices based on best practices and empirical research.

Cari Kelly has a BFA in Graphic Design and a Masters in Instructional Sciences, plus years of designing. She works for the Office of Marine and Aviation Operations here in Kansas City.
