Consult > Design > Deliver! A Foundational L&D Practitioner's Series

This series is designed for early- to mid-career Learning & Development professionals eager to build practical, real-world skills. Whether you're an instructional designer, facilitator, or talent development leader, this series will equip you with the tools and frameworks to elevate your L&D practice.

Session 2: From Concept to Prototype

Bring your learners’ needs into sharp focus and turn ideas into concrete learning assets. In this hands-on session, you will:

  • Map the journey from need to solution. Use instructional design models such as ADDIE / SAM to move from needs analysis through preliminary design, keeping a clear line of sight to business goals.
  • Draft & brand your materials. Work on marketing collateral and course artifacts that resonate with stakeholders and reinforce the learning experience.
  • Prototype and beta-test. Build quick, low-risk prototypes, collect feedback, and iterate before full launch.
  • Think in systems. Apply systems-thinking lenses to balance instructional quality with project constraints and change-management realities.

You will leave with a vetted instruction roadmap ready for final development.
