Job Position: Instructional Designer

The Instructional Designer position will be responsible for driving high quality training content for all eLearning programs, instructor-led content, micro-learning, virtual classroom design, toolkits, facilitator and learner guides, and performance evaluations of CommunityAmerica’s employees learning and development needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Write and develop content for instructor-led, blended learning, and eLearning modules
  • Instructionally design content for effective, interactive delivery
  • Manage and maintain all delivery media and eLearning application software
  • Manage work flow processes and publish content to LMS
  • Manage, monitor, and maintain all testing and assessment data within LMS or other testing platform
  • Interface with various departments to develop specifications for content of courses
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into training and tools geared to all CommunityAmerica employees
  • Keep current in training development and implementation methodologies and software
  • Assist in the scheduling of classrooms and physical set-up for training sessions
  • Coordinate scheduling of employees in various training programs
  • Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with the credit union's values, philosophies, and leadership characteristics
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience, ideally in a corporate setting
  • This experience must include eLearning design and development with Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Lectora Camtasia, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Must have demonstrated knowledge of adult learning styles and methods including generational awareness methods and group facilitation skills
