EiP Winner Presentation: Mission Ready Factory

Does your organization face issues with employee lag or downtime? What should employees do while they are waiting on training or certifications?

This session covers how the Honeywell Learning & Development team created Mission Ready Factory, a training factory that allows new employees to build training kits in a simulated environment. Throughout the session, you’ll learn about the needs assessment performed to identify the program, the steps taken to develop and implement the factory, and the evaluated results of those efforts.

Tyler Dixon is a Business Partner at the Kansas City National Security Campus managed by Honeywell. In his role, he partners with three divisions to perform needs assessments and lead strategic projects for his internal customers. Tyler joined the Learning & Development team in 2017 as an Instructional Designer, designing the company’s new-hire training program and introducing interactivity and microlearning to the eLearning catalog. Prior to Honeywell, Tyler was on the Learning Solutions team at ScriptPro, where he designed and facilitated learning programs on robotics systems. Tyler is a graduate of Kansas State University, where he studied Marketing, Japanese, and International Business.
