Your Technology Learning Journey

We are all on a journey where we transform our lives with technology to be more productive, collaborative, and connected to our peers, families, and friends. As we explore and learn technology, we create value within ourselves, and value for others to achieve their goals and to contribute to a larger purpose. Often, we miss key elements that are unique to the technology learning journey, and as a community of learners and educators, we can step back and identify how technology and digital transformation has unique needs than other professional development efforts. In this session...

  • Discover the two core values of value to self and to others and how they map your technology learning journey
  • Understand the paths that are along that journey and how content creators and consumers can be successful
  • Identify how you expose new technology skills based on the level of trust you have with others

Doug Winnie is Director of Learning Experience at H&R Block, responsible for learning and development platforms supporting associates across the organization. He is also Chief Learning Officer for MentorNations, a non-profit focused on digital transformation and skills for global entrepreneurs.
