Sally Koppy is a passionate advocate for lifelong learning and professional growth, bringing over 20 years of expertise in talent development, leadership, and program advancement. With a Master of Science in Education and certification as a Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD), Sally has dedicated her career to empowering individuals and organizations to thrive.
In her role as Director of ATD Certification and Credentialing, Sally supports ATD certification candidates on their journey to earning the CPTD or APTD designations. Collaborating with a dynamic team, she co-leads the ATD Certification Study Group series, helping participants expand their skills and knowledge through the transformative ATD Capability Model.
A leader within the ATD Kansas City chapter since 2011, Sally has worn many hats, including President, VP of Finance, and VP of Programs. From 2016 to 2018, she extended her influence nationally as a member of the ATD National Advisor for Chapters board. Her dedication to the ATD mission reflects her belief in the power of community to advance talent development.
Sally emphasizes that ATDKC has given her access to an incredible network of talent development professionals and invaluable learning opportunities. She remains dedicated to the chapter and plans to continue leading, energizing, and engaging its members and board of directors.
Beyond her professional contributions, Sally finds joy in her personal life as the wife of her childhood sweetheart and the proud mother of three daughters and grandmother to eight grandchildren. She embraces adventure in her free time.
Michael Henry, Dir of ATD Certification & Credentialing
Michael Henry, CPTD, has a Masters in Educational Technology and is an eLearning Producer / Director, specializing in educational multimedia, online learning, and project-based learning. He began his career in Instructional Television, producing adult education television for PBS.
He is passionate about outcomes based online learning experiences, blended with face to face learning accountability for compliance, onboarding, DEI, and Teambuilding training programs. He is currently Co-Chair for ATDKC Capabilities Study Group for CPTD and APTD candidates.
